Solar Panel - rear connection

LIGHTSOLAR is the 'Glass & Frameless' range of solar panels designed for applications where weight, thickness and strength are key characteristics.

The cells of these monocrystalline panels, with an efficiency of 18.75 per cent, are embedded in a unique multilayer architecture: the top layer is a plastic polymer called ETFE that is highly resistant to corrosion and weathering, so much so that it can be defined as self-repairing. The surface of the panel, always exposed to scratches from tree branches, hail, sharp surfaces or other accidental impacts, is able to self-mould itself, returning to its ideal initial shape to capture the sun's rays.

In the lower part of the structure, on the other hand, there is a sheet of PCB to better contain and dissipate the heat generated by the cells and give the panel such robustness as to make it perfect even in nautical applications, where (albeit with even and soft footwear) it is possible to step on the panel.

Built with no less than 7 layers, including the ETFE surface, the best surface in terms of efficiency and durability, and a PCB sheet that stiffens it, making it more robust and better at dissipating heat. The NDS aerodynamic box is the housing for the supplied 3-metre connection cable and encloses the bypass diodes required to reduce shading.
